Welcome to the Intensive Dietary Management Membership Community.
Our current mission is to provide you with education regarding intermittent fasting and low carbohydrate diets.
Below are the terms that apply anytime you use Intensive Dietary Management.
To achieve our mission we provide visitors with the knowledge, tools and inspiration we believe they will benefit from, to the best of our ability.
You are voluntarily selecting to participate in the Intensive Dietary Management Membership Community, Before agreeing to participate, it is important that you read and understand the following information. It also describes your right to refuse to participate at any time. Please ask Intensive Dietary Management to explain any words you do not understand before agreeing to this document by writing to support@IDMprogram.com.
The information we provide at Intensive Dietary Management (or IDMprogram.com) is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified medical professional. We will not provide you with any medical advice whatsoever nor is our educational material to be contrived as medical advice. We encourage you to inform your physician of changes you make to your lifestyle and discuss these with him or her. For questions or concerns about any medical conditions you may have, please contact your doctor.
The Intensive Dietary Management Membership site is facilitated by Intensive Dietary Management staff. They cannot give medical advice, interpret medical results, or issue or change prescriptions. They are not physicians, nurses, pharmacists or registered dieticians. Any and all medical advice or decisions concerning you care must be referred to your own physician.
By agreeing to this document you consent to waive any and all claims, actions, causes of action in contract or tort with respect to any act, omission, communication or conduct of Intensive Dietary Management.
You may not use our recipes or membership content unless you have obtained the right to do so from us.
You may not use our content for commercial purposes unless you have obtained the right to do so from us.
Intensive Dietary Management stores and uses personal information in order to provide you with good service. We will never sell your information, and will only share it with third parties as described below.
We are committed to protect your information and use leading technologies and encryption software to safeguard your data, and keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorized access to it.
The information we store
Comments, ratings, favorites, questions and similar information
When you submit information to Intensive Dietary Management to comment on posts and articles, rate a recipe or video, answer a question, or mark content as favorite or to watch later, the internet address you’re using will be stored in addition to the information you’re entering.
A member’s name, email address and internet address used when ordering a membership will be stored. We also store data on your order and how members use the site (video views, ratings, last visit etc.).
Your stored personal information and order information are displayed on your My Account page once you have become a member.
We also store your answers to surveys you may reply to via email or on Intensive Dietary Management.
Intensive Dietary Management stores standard access logs of all visits to the site. This includes access time, URL, internet address, and browser information.
Some cookies are stored on your computer until you delete them. If you want to avoid storing cookies, you can turn off the feature in your web browser. However, this means that for example you can not log in or sign up to become a member.
Our publishing system WordPress may store a number of temporary or permanent cookies to enable logging in and to facilitate entry of comments on the site. We also store temporary cookies when you register and pay for membership.
Sharing of information with third parties
In general, Intensive Dietary Management will not share your details with any third party unless absolutely required to do so by law. The exception is third-party providers Intensive Dietary Management uses to provide our services.

Akismet anti-spam service
Intensive Dietary Management shares information about all blog comments to help avoid comment spam.
Braintree, Stripe, and PayPal
Intensive Dietary Management uses Braintree, Stripe and PayPal to process payments. When you pay, the information required to process the payment is handled through SSL encryption by our payment-service provider Braintree, Stripe (or PayPal if you use that payment option).
Intensive Dietary Management uses content delivery services to speed up access to the site. As requests to Intensive Dietary Management pass through these services they will get standard access information for each request sent.
Intensive Dietary Management uses Google Analytics to help us understand how our website is used and therefore Google Analytics stores cookies on our site.
Intensive Dietary Management uses MailChimp to send our newsletters and some other e-mails, like for the 2-week challenge. For those who are signed up to the newsletters MailChimp will store e-mail information, and information about how you interact with individual e-mails (like open and click rates).
Sharing buttons and widgets for FaceBook, Pinterest and Twitter
Intensive Dietary Management uses social-media technology to allow you to share Intensive Dietary Management content. These services use their own third-party cookies.
Vimeo and YouTube
Intensive Dietary Management uses video services (Vimeo, YouTube, etc.) that store their own third-party cookies.
The right to request and modify personal information
You have the right to order a copy of the data we have on you. You may also request that we correct personal information, or that we remove your personal information completely.

IDM Community Facebook Group
The IDM Community Facebook Group is a privilege. If you disregard and disobey the group rules you will be removed from the Facebook group regardless of being a paying customer. The purpose of the group is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for you to share information with each other. Intensive Dietary Management Inc., Dr. Jason Fung, Megan Ramos and all IDM Community Facebook Group moderators are not legally responsible for you or your actions.
The IDM Community Facebook Group is facilitated by Intensive Dietary Management Inc. and a team of moderators. Just like IDM staff these moderators cannot give medical advice, interpret medical results, or issue or change prescriptions. They are not physicians, nurses, pharmacists or registered dieticians. Any and all medical advice or decisions concerning you care must be referred to your own physician.

Additional membership terms
Membership is free for the first 30 days. If you cancel your membership before the 30 days are up, no charge will be made.
The first monthly payment of USD $39 will be charged after 30 days, and subsequently as close as possible to this day each month. For example, if the first payment is due on January 31st the next payment is due on February 28th. You can keep track of upcoming payments on your My Account page.
On your My Account page you can also cancel your subscription at any time. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
