The IDM Membership Community Group Fast (ZornFast) is coming up soon. April marks the 15th consecutive month the group has come together to fast.
The Group Fast begins Monday, April 8th and continues through Sunday, April 14th – but you don’t need to fast all seven days. You can choose any type of fast that suits you. Sign up on the Group Fast page and get ready!
Fasts are led by coach Brenda Zorn – who posts a video update each day, offering tips and tricks to help you get through. Studies support the benefits of extra virgin olive oil
Most people believe you shouldn’t cook with olive oil, but that’s not true. Head-to-head studies show that extra virgin olive oil is even more stable than coconut oil during cooking because of the high concentration of polyphenols, which prevent the oil from oxidizing. Find the study here.
Extra virgin olive oil, even when compared to virgin olive oil, has been shown to have better effects at reducing oxidized LDL and lowering blood pressure. In other words, the polyphenols in extra virgin olive oil matter above and beyond the MUFA content of the oil. Extra virgin olive oil has even been shown to reduce DNA damage and oxidative stress.
Extra virgin olive oil truly is a longevity oil!
